Vietnam Apostille Requirements Are Changing

From 11 September 2026, Vietnam will recognise Apostilles issued under the Hague Apostille Convention.

For eligible UK public documents, this means the previous Vietnamese Embassy attestation stage will generally no longer be required. Instead, the document can be legalised in the UK with an Apostille for use in Vietnam.

We can still assist with the complete legalisation process, including any solicitor certification that may be needed before the Apostille is issued.
